“The Dialogue of the Hills” for the seven Hills of the city of Amman. This is a project “in growth” being discussed with the municipality.

The Story:

The Dialogue of the Hills is a project for a series of permanent urban art installations and community gardens for the Hills of Amman. Inspired by the unique landscape, the project consists of an urban art sculpture within a small public garden for each of the seven hill communities. The sculpture gardens are visible to one another and also overlook the city centre.

Each one becomes a catalyst that attracts and awakens the curiosity of the residents, the sum of which works as a chain that initiates communication between the hills. This series of interactive community gardens also introduces sustainable technologies to the public which respond to growing concerns in the region regarding water supply and renewable energy. The Dialogue of the Hills aims to capture the city’s energy and express it through urban art works that involve communities, enrich the environment, and create a cultural story linking the Amman hills.
