Born in Tripoli - Lebanon

Mario followed a various studies, to start with decoration in Lebanon, then in architecture and painting in Russia, to end up in psychology at the Lebanese University.

Since 1986, he established his own workshop “ L’Atelier”, where he works and uses it as a permanent show room.
1986-1998, he worked in “graphic design”, such as: animated advertisement for local TV’s, artistic direction for local magazines and designing of book covers for several publishers in Beirut.
1989-1992, he teaches Arts in an American school in Tripoli, for different levels.
1995-2001, in charge of “Art & Creativity” at the University of St Joseph -Lebanon.
1994-2001, he designed several artistic decorations for special places & created a back stage decoration for many theatrical scenes.
Since 1997, full member artist in Nicolas Sursock museum Beirut – Lebanon.

Since 2004, he had been at Balamand University involved in the artistic and documentary photography of religious sites in Lebanon and Syria. He taught art installation for movies in the audio visual department at the Holy Spirit University Kaslik. Saba's creativity manifests itself in many ways. He described himself as an experimental artist.

A full member-artist at the Nicolas Sursock Museum in Beirut, Saba held a dozen individual exhibitions and participated in over forty group exhibitions in the Arab world, Europe, and the United States.

He died in 2011.
