[1999-2000]: Winner of third Award Kodak Interuniversity Competition “Beirut: Identity & Reflection”

[2000-2004]: Owner of a photography agency “Grayscale Photography” projects from A to Z, concentration on advertising and fashion photography (concept, shooting, development, scanning, retouching, follow up print out, leaflet and catalog design, billboard design…)

Artist Statement:

Jean Pierre Tarabay was born in 1976, in Jbeil, Lebanon. He graduated with a BFA degree in Photography, in 1999. He held numerous personal exhibitions as well as attended and organized many group exhibitions, locally and abroad. The experience element goes into countless different photography approaches such as fashion, advertising, documentary, portrait, architectural, natural, jewelry, industrial… His commercial work is based on private clients, top agencies and magazines. Parallel to all this, he teaches and lectures at various universities throughout the Lebanese region. In his free time, he manages to pursue his love of photography by developing new artistic photography concepts.

Hensels studio flash light with all accessories.
