Born in 1965 in Beirut.

Assistant Manager of “Nicolas G. Kazan Est.” Dora Highway since 1988.
Art Painter since 2004.

Education:

Ghada pursuit her school studies at the French lycée of Beirut till she graduated in 1983,
Enrolled at AUB electrical engineering department till 1988.
Drawing and water painting at the extension course at AUB 1989.
Speaks fluently English, French and Spanish.

Marital status:

Married to Patrick Abboud, mother of: Christelle, Chloe and Elena.

“Despite my scientific background it seemed that I was always attracted by art.

Since my early childhood I was always drawing. Later on during my studies at the AUB all my elective courses were art courses.

Three years ago I took courses of oil painting it was very easy for me to paint as if I had discovered a hidden talent.

Human beings and emotions inspire me a lot and I like to paint facial masks as it represents the hidden reality of things”.

“Light is the purest essence of the divine. Once dissected, it arises in a superb rainbow of colors.

In this line, Ghada Kazan Abboud selects the shades of her palette which grow in a wonderland of colors reflecting the brightest joy of life.

Her feather is authentic, it evolves graciously in a crystalline world of her own, it dwells in a surrealistic and impressionistic sphere but remains true even in the “Mask” series of paintings inspired from the “Carnaval de venise” with glimpses about life’s comedy”. Zeina Godressi.
