Biography

Darine Semaan is an old scholar who graduated in 1990. Born in Beirut on 9th September 1978 she spent 4 years at BHS. During her school days she discovered a talent for art and painting. Her artwork and paintings were first displayed in the corridors at the school. After graduating from BHS she studied interior design, but continued to nurture her craving for painting.

In addition to being an aspirant painter Darine is also a ballroom dancer from which she also draws inspiration for some of her paintings about dancing, figures, or the social life. And as music interest in Latin, jazz, classics, as well as a sports person. Her style in work and paintings frequently portray figures engaging in traditional Lebanese music playing and dancing.

Whereby she uses oil and paints with knives, acrylic and new technique of painting by coffee, and the color contrast which mostly shown.

Live show painting

A new concept in artwork for live show painting during weddings or other social events, painting while a band playing or Dj, exhibitions, or fashion shows to give the inspiration mood.

Which within one hour the painting will be done showing, bride’s dress, groom, flowers and the theme ambiance.
