II- Artist Statement:
The Hyper-Realistic Paintings are commonly called
“The Observable Paintings” and my eternal obsession is to achieve
clear, neat and easily readable paintings, capturing sense of the
modern world while at the same time adhering to the traditions of
realism, instead of acting defensively against the forces of 20th
- century modernism that crippled previous generations of painters.
After living for more than forty years in Venezuela, I consider
myself lucky to come and live in Lebanon, where I’m presenting my
realism that is the result of a long journey of rehearsals and searches
for Excellence, in order to maintain the good name of the Venezuelan
Artists abroad.

Tony Mardelli is an artist. His knowledge based on his wide artistic
culture promotes him as a worthy integral artist. There is nothing
strange to him in the world of visual arts and that is why and with
great liberality he has let himself go in the difficult profession
of teaching presenting a highly professional work and seminars in
the world of painting, plastic composition a drawing naturally.
The rich work of plastic composition of the painter
Mardelli has placed him under a very personal creativity regime
granting us different periods that surprised us due to the versatility
of the developed subjects to reach currently an excess of enlightening
and detailed hyper realism that is characterized by a technical
capacity and surprising creativity. We are front of trustworthy
artist, concerned with aspirations, that doesn’t settle for the
achieved work but on the contrary pursues his research to always
go beyond his work. We do see how he develops his work thru his
large sensitivity without any difficulty to reach a point where
he expresses with talent in all his showings.
These appreciations
are the result of a consistent follow up to the work of the painter
Mardelli. In Caracas, Venezuela we were able to enjoy this magnificent
work that characterized the painter Mardelli today as a unique artist
of high and expressive quality when he creates again in his language
an expressive and exquisite drawing.

Ses œuvres récentes, regroupées sous le titre «
Duo ».
