Artist Statement
It
takes years, even centuries for Time to develop the stone.
But the day, Mother Nature's elements decide to cease their work,
it's just to allow a sculptor who would know how to maintain the
conversation going on, give the stone his own time rhythm.
Anything but shy, wild the stone never gives it self easily;
The fight is harsh; the exchange that takes place is violent.
It is all about combining one's inspiration with the stone's aspiration.
The artist works with all of his body, all his senses are awakened.
The stone and the sculptor understood each other.

stone...words we express.
A symphony of colors..... sounds and so much music!
Through it, a dialogue and a message, an idea which
springs, an idea that takes shape.
Classical or modern, each sculpture has in itself
a challenge, a same dialogue.
This multifaceted material, imposing by its initial
form, color and texture impresions me to free me better.
